Great Place is The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s ground-breaking scheme which will allow communities to explore how their unique heritage can be used to shape the future of these places and help tackle wider issues such as poverty, employment, health and education.

Led by Belfast Charitable Society, the project aims to:

• Support Cluster members to become more resilient;
• Develop heritage programming that makes our buildings and stories even more important for the future of north Belfast.
• Our vision for the end of the project is to create a more confident sense of place, by continuing to build on the work of the Great Place project, in partnership with others in North Belfast.
