HEAD OF PROGRAMMES – JOB DESCRIPTION – NEW POST

Duration: Full time permanent position

Hours: 36 hours per week

Salary: £48,800

Based: Clifton House

Reporting to: Belfast Charitable Society Chief Executive

Job Summary

Belfast Charitable Society (BCS) is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Head of Programmes to play a key role in its newly created Senior Management Team to oversee the delivery of a variety of existing and developing projects. At present the postholder will work with the CEO to manage a range of philanthropic grants programmes, grant making on behalf of the BCS and its donors; alongside the management of other programmes including heritage development at Clifton House and a multi-faceted heritage project in lower north Belfast. This position will act as the conduit between CEO and operational staff.

GRANT ADMINISTRATOR – JOB DESCRIPTION – NEW POST

Duration: Permanent part-time position

Hours: 24 hours per week

Salary: £25,000 pro rata

Based: Clifton House

Reporting to: Head of Programmes

Job Summary

Provide administrative support for grants covering the whole cycle of grant making – from application to archiving of files once grant term is completed, ensuring the efficient and effective running of all of BCS (and donor/partner) grants and to support the CEO and Head of Programmes in informing decisions.
